Product Description
Unique carries treatment enables the catalysts to obtain more reasonable sponge micro pore structure so as to increase the availability of its internal surface area. Moreover, it also obtains better tenacity to improve sharp heating and cooling resistance. Carrier sintering temperature of 1500º C enables the catalysts have higher heat-resistant temperature. Therefore, Z205 and CN-20 series secondary steam-reforming catalysts have been widely applied in secondary reformers of air, rich oxygen, pure oxygen and partial oxidation. So far, Z205 and CN-20 catalysts have been used in more than 160 plants, among which, nearly 100 sets of ammonia and methanol plants with production capacity of 300~2000 tons/day.

Long mechanical lifetime
To achieve a long service lifetime the catalyst has to withstand thermic and gravity effects. Based on our experience we are able to guarantee that increase of pressure drop due to catalyst attrition or breakage will be less than 10% over guarantee period.

High activity
The catalyst is prepared by a specific technique to give a sponge structure, reasonable micro pore structure and large pore volume and less internal diffusion resistance, so it is favored to the steam reforming reaction, which is controlled by internal diffusion, thus increasing the availability of its internal surface area.

Excellent heat resistance
Carrier sintering temperature of 1500º C enables the catalyst have higher heat-resistant temperature. Moreover, catalyst's sponge micro pore structure can make it better tenacity to improve its high temperature resistance and sharp heating & cooling resistance.

Long service life
Z205 and CN-20 catalysts contain stable calcium aluminate support, and it can resist nickel and alumina into nickel-aluminium spinel. So it can give additional operational security in case of frequent start-up and shut-down conditions (repeating oxidation and reduction process). Long mechanism life and excellent heat resistance can extend catalysts service life. At present, catalysts service life is normally 4-6 years.

Less harmful impurity, no impact on down-stream system
Some catalysts have bad stability and Ni is easy to volatilize and migrate, but the most important, these catalysts impurities contents are very high( such as SiO2, ZnO, Fe), moreover, it adds some MGO, K, etc during production. These contents would partially volatilize and migrate at high temperature and deposit on the lower temperature waste heat boiler and deposit on the middle-temperature shifting catalysts, it therefore brings waste heat boiler temperature rise and badly affects middle shift catalysts performance. However, Z205 and CN-20 catalysts never occur such situation over service lifetime.
