Product Description
CN-28 series anti-heavy hydrocarbons catalysts have more reasonable outer appearance structure to improve strength and outer surface area, more reason micro pore structure to increase the availability of its internal surface area. Adding rare earth oxide & alkali oxide as promoter to improve its activity at low temperature and anti-carbon formation ability. It is mainly applied in H2 plants utilizing naphtha/ refinery off-gas, etc as feedstock. According to different feedstock and operation conditions, different potassium contents will be added. So far, CN-28 series catalysts have been used in more than 20 plants, among which, 8 sets of H2 units with production capacity of 10000~60000Nm3/h.

Good mechanical strength
The catalyst's sponge micro pore structure can make it better tenacity so that it is of better heat-expansion & cold-shrink resistance. The 6-holed shape ensures symmetrical stress patterns and no easy fracture-line. Based on our experience, we are able to guarantee that increase of pressure drop due to catalyst attrition or breakage will be less than 10% over guarantee period.

Excellent anti-accident ability
CN-28 series catalysts add rare earth to improve catalysts' comprehensive performance. Adding rare earth can increase catalysts' adsorption capacity to water and also improve their activity at low temperature. Thus this will allow steam/carbon ratio of as low as 2.0 without risk of carbon formation. In the unlikely event of a plant up-set which does result in carbon formation, the catalysts can be easily steamed due to large hole sizes, and usually activity can be completely recovered.

High activity and long service Life
CN-28 series catalysts contain stable calcium aluminate support and appropriate K contents, thus they have better activity and stability. Good mechanism strength and high carbon resistance can enable them have excellent anti-accident ability and extend catalysts service life. At present, catalysts service life is normally 3-5 years.
